Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition 3.0.12 (Legacy) Released

Firefox logoPortableApps.com is proud to announce the release of Mozilla Firefox®, Portable Edition 3.0.12 (Legacy Edition). It's the current Mozilla Firefox browser from the older 3.0 release bundled with a PortableApps.com launcher as a portable app, so you can take your browser, bookmarks, settings and extensions on the go. It's intended for web page testers and the small percentage of users who have not yet updated to 3.5. This new release updates Firefox to 3.0.12 and expands the languages available to include Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Dutch, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil), Russian and Spanish (Spain and International). It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. And, as always, it's open source and completely free.

It has all the same great features of Notepad++ including support for multiple languages and an extensive plugin system, but there's nothing to install. This release updates Notepad++ to 5.4.5. PortableApps.com Flash DrivePortableApps.com has released the PortableApps.com Platform 2.0 Beta 1, making it easier than ever to carry your favorite software with you. This test release adds a number of features including theme switching, custom themes, automatic starting of apps, favorites, app hiding, better performance and more. And, as always, it's all open source and completely free.

The PortableApps.com Suite 2.0 Beta 1 release is available for user to test from the beta forum release announcement. Please post testing-related comments there.
