Request App: Windows 7 Portable

Can somebody please make a portable version of Windows 7. I need to run it from my 128MB flash drive that I bought from a street vendor who strangely wasn't there the following day.

Don't worry about licensing or legal issues, you won't get into trouble, I promise not to tell.

Oh and while you're at it can you come round my house, shampoo my carpets and do my laundry?

Thanks so much PortableApps team, you're the best.

P.S. Please let the dog out and the cat in. Thx!

:/ There's no such thing as

:/

There's no such thing as Windows 7 Portable

However, you have two options.

Google for "WinPE 3.0" (A smaller version (FREE) of Windows 7).

BUY Windows 7, and install it on a PORTABLE HD.

Are you really serious?

Are you really serious? This whole post has a sort of satirical tone about it... sort of like you're trying to make the post as unbelievable as possible to get a laugh. (And to be honest, you got a big one from me... I laughed for 6 minutes straight)

EDIT: Given your background as a PortableFreeware mod, I'm going to go out on a limb and say you're joking...

He-llo? Anybody knows that Win7 can't fit on a CD, much less a 128 MB flash drive :P...

Yeah, and the part about

Yeah, and the part about buying the flash drive from "a street vendor who strangely wasn't there the following day" was a clear "sarcasm flag" as well...

Beautiful Irony

There was a beautiful irony about this as a few days later pmlabrier posted about a counterfeit Kingston drive. Not funny, but yet... funny. Smile

I was wondering...

...when somebody was going to spot that. I don't have Windows 7 but it was a fairly sure bet that it wouldn't fit onto a 128MB USB drive (PE edition or not). Smile

My Bad

Sorry for the confusion guys, I just couldn't wait til April. I was just getting tired of all the whiny requests and people expect the developers to jump to it, like they are working for these individuals personally.

And it really cracks me up when said individuals get upset because the law inconveniently gets in the way of their plans to illegally use commercial/restricted license software portably.

"Well why can't you modify Adobe Photoshop to run portably and distribute if freely all over the world?"
"erm, because that would be illegal you moron!"
"Yeah, but why can't you modify Abode Photoshop..."
*sound of two gunshots*

Reminds me of the 3

Reminds me of the 3 Stooges... one of them (generally Moe) says "I think... ", another (generally Larry) says "Yeah, me too" and the last (generally Curly) says "Me three!"

It's ok to not laugh once in a while

It wasn't a joke at your expense, merely to highlight the reason I originally stated April, to show that it wasn't some random month that I pulled out of thin air. Furthermore, there are international users that perhaps are not familiar with April Fool's Day.

yeah...

Just realised it is not exactly what he wanted...but if you want something you can find it, as shown in the review...and I just had to post it...

Don't know why it is wanted though...in that review it looks like MS has gone backwards... Blum
