Application: Qucs
Category: Education
Description: Quite Universal Circuit Simulator (Qucs) is an open source electronics circuit simulator software released under GPL. It gives you the ability to set up a circuit with a graphical user interface and simulate the large-signal, small-signal and noise behaviour of the circuit. Pure digital simulations are also supported using VHDL and/or Verilog.

I made a launcher for Qucs 0.0.15 about 2 years ago, but never published it due its complexity (and it was never requested). I'll compare your launcher with mine if I find the time.
Using the PAL made it so much easier. I don't think I would have considered it without the PAL as it is now 3 configuration lines instead of many many lines of code.
That is what I thought at first but then after quite a lot of reading it seems to work...
I haven't used all the functionality of Qucs so maybe it is not really portable but it seems to be fine here.
took a look at your 3 lines. Some points:
I think that's all. (at least my launcher had these things inside, but I haven't used Qucs for years ;-))
Thanks for looking. I am a bit busy these days I will look into that. When I ran it, long ago (this has been on my drive since at least last summer), I had a clean regshot but I have not garantee it was the same launcher and I was using a PC with very few authorisations.
There will be a dev test 2 sometime in the future...
I had completely missed those. Thanks for pointing them out.
I have now a dev test 2 which takes care of all of these except language switching.
I have not really done much for the customColor, just what is recommended by the PAL guys but this is not complete. I don't have much time these days so they may solve the problem before me...
In case you don't know there's recently been a new release. Do you plan on making a new development release to the new version at some point? Thanks
Sorry for the late reply but yes, I already have it running here for a good week. I hope to tidy it and release it this weekend
This this just a tidy up and update.
No new functionality in the launcher.
...aamiel for the update. Seems to be working OK so far. I understand this program probably isn't of interest to a lot of people, but for us electronics folks it has some usefulness. The development of this program seems slow, but still going.
I am not myself an electronics engineer but need to use it from time to time.
After looking a bit I found Qucs was the simplest and yet still useful open source program of this type so I started using it.
Any other recommendation are welcome but I may not portabilise them.
