Thanks, winterblood, I really mean that. I didn't know there was such a simple solution right before me. For my modest pdf editing needs that is ample. Considering the frequency that I need to edit pdf files the prettiness is a non-issue.

in case damoun or anyone else needs to find it as it is in Utilities rather than Office where I think it belongs. John thinks Utilities is the right place, nuff said, he isn't always right but it is his place to be wrong.
I can't see why your suggestion is any better than any of the "almost working but not quite" ones already available.
