Skype doesn't connect
Try to be logged in the web version first. web.skype.com
I tried your solution but without solve my problem.
I was connected in skype web and I tried to connect me at sPortable.
I've this problem only on this pc.I have a pc with windows 7 and the another one with windows 8, in both of them I haven't this problem.
Modified the file hosts? It is possible to hide the advertisement in Skype or disable updates.
The file hosts was modificated by the installation of Dragon Naturally Speaking.
Now file hosts is empty with an empty row (excluding the commentated rows) but the problem persists.
Reset Internet Explorer settings.
Ok, so I have another problem. I can not open Internet Explorer. I tried to remove it and reinstall it. I tried to start skype in both situations but skype doesn't connect.
I've also tried to open the internet options by Networks Connection Senter without results
Check the PC for viruses. Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool http://devbuilds.kaspersky-labs.com/devbuilds/KVRT/latest/full/KVRT.exe or Dr.Web CureIt! https://free.drweb.com/cureit?lng=en
I did a check with Comodo Internet Security and with KVRT. Comodo doesn't noticed problems; KVRT noticed 4 problems: tor.exe, the installation of tightvnc and 2 advertising software wich are in the Comodo's quarantine folder
Can you temporarily install Skype locally to see if it works at all on your computer so we can narrow down the problem? https://download.skype.com/msi/SkypeSetup_7.41.0.101.msi
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I installed skype and it has the same problem
That's a machine issue, not an sPortable issue, and will likely affect more internet apps than just Skype. I'd wager your issue updating apps is connected as well. Was this machine infected with malware previously?
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
No, this machine always is been clean.
At this point, is possible wich the problems are linked though cpu-z has been updated. Instead the other programs, no.
I reinstalled my system and now, skype connects regularly and the other apps are upgraded.
Thanks
