Different version than official ?

Hello everybody,

can someone please tell me why the thunderbird version here is 60.9.1 and on the other hand version 68.2.2 is available at the offical Mozilla-Website ??

Mozilla Thunderbird 68.2.2 [Awaiting Bug 60496 fix]

That is because there is a bug that break extension on 68+ when changing folder/drive letter. You can see on the Outdated Official Portable Applications thread for application that are still not updated.

Portabilizing application... 14 at the moment
