I have successfully added an outside application that consisted of an EXE file without any problems.

However, I would like to add two small applications consisting of batch files. These consists of several commands to repair or reinitialize IP addresses when encountering connection problems.

I used the same technique of adding a directory containing the batch file, but Portable apps doesn't show this new application even though I have tried the refresh applications option from the menu.

I'm probably missing something simple, but so far it still eludes me.

Is it possible to start Jooleem muted?

I guess I have to use the .ini, that's what I did. I tried. "DisableAudio=true","DisableSound=true","DisableMusic=true","StartMute=true","Mute=true"

EDIT: Deleting the audio files, does not work. (Jooleem does not start, an error message appears)

I know this is not the notepad++ forum. Maybe this is not right place to ask that, but I simply do.

I have a file that is built up like this:

000.0.0.0 tet.de
000.0.0.0 site.net
000.0.0.0 123.com
000.0.0.0 name.com
000.0.0.0 .name.com
000.0.0.0 abc.com
000.0.0.0 .abc.com

As you see the number is always the same. Now I want to remove the line that contains a "." at the beginning of the text. It's every second line. I mark the lines from the beginning of the first "." appearance to the last, but what have I to do then?

I use the v 5.0.3 (but it effects on all versions) on XP (SP3)

The "problem" I have is related to the point that a folder is created in "*\Documents and Settings\username\temp\" with a random name. Within the folder a .tmp file is created and executed. It's a random name, too.

Hello. Is there any way I can use the Spell-checker with Notepad++ Portable? I have tried everything and I can't just use it on those computers which don't have Aspell installed?

I would just like to install Aspell to my pendrive and use it with Notepad++ Portable on any computer, can I do that?

When I try to create an archive(any kind)
Peazip sometimes freezes. But if i try to compress the same file using 7zip it does not. So is there something wrong with PeaziP?

And why is 7zip slower than peazip?

Help Wanted!!

My AV (eTrust) is detecting Win32/FakeAv.CX in many of my applications. I tried to download again WindirStat for example and the AV catches it and takes it to the quarantine folder. Some of the applications are GIMP, KEEPASS, GNUCASH, NOTEPAD++ but Firefox, 7-zip.

Does someone else have this problem too?

I think i found the first bug, but maybe its Lightscreen itself.
Bug-Description:
If I run the programm, a window appeares with a big "screenshot"-labelled button on the left. If I click on the button I get a menu, whose last entry is "Go to Folder". If I click it, nothing happens. It doesnt go to the desired folder.

the non-portable version can be started without showing the console window. (command line option -noconsole)
Is this possible with the portable version too?
How to change the dosbox.conf or DosBoxPortable.ini?
