Although the language is set to English or British English in the options menu, the language of many applications eg VLC anf Filezilla and Ultratorrent is still displayed in the operating system language, as this Japanese,this makes it extremely difficult to change anything! And is one of my prime reasons for using the postableapps base. In fact, if the language of VLC is changed to English, the application language of the original install of VLC changes as well!

ESET NOD32 AntiVirus is reporting false positives for the PAF.exe files. I have submitted a support ticket with them:

There are several virus false positives being reported for Portable App Distributions. Most notably McAfee Stinger Portable and Kaspersky TDS Killer are detected as having a trojan.

I'm planning on making a launcher for Hugin Panorama tools and have one question.
Is it possible to make a portable app that uses a different version of the app for different OS versions?

Here's the full story. The last version of Hugin that was compatible with Win XP was version 2013.0.0
But they are now at version 2016.2.0 for both 32 and 64 bit versions used for versions of Vista and later.
So, since I want to maximize the compatibility of the app, I'd like to make it able to start the lower version if XP is detected. But is that possible?

Is it possible to exclude single Apps from Update? In search für updates dialogue you can uncheck programs, but where I can set an app not to update and not to show in this dialogue?

How to delete registry directory under HKLM\SOFTWARE\?
Since have already declareed "RunAsAdmin=force" under [Launch] section , "Registry=true" under [Activate].
I have write "2=HKLM\SOFTWARE\AppName" under the [RegistryCleanupForce] section ,but it seems don't work.

I guess this issue is related to Windows 10, since I did not notice something similar in Windows 7 or 8.

Example of the issue:
I want to decompress the files example.7z.001, example.7z.002 with 7zip, which are not directly recognized as manageable with 7zip. So I use Open with and I browse for 7-ZipPortable.exe (I also tried the executable in the App folder). But nothing happens.
The program finally opens after a crazy long time (~ 10 min. measured).
If I open manually in 7zip, it is immediate.

I have just been served an advert on portableapps.com that included a pornographic image that is illegal to possess in the UK. Think animal and lady.

I have a screenshot in case anyone doesn't believe me but would prefer for obvious reasons to be able to delete it.

Meanwhile I will be blocking ads on PA.com

I've been searching about a way to rename custom categories, but I can't find anything.
Double click or right click on the category name doesn't open any menus. Also, I can't find any hidden file (containing information about categories) inside the portableapps directories that I could edit.
So, is there a way to rename the custom categories that I create?
