Run 64 bit version

Submitted by mmjoshi on November 30, 2022 - 10:38pm

I have installed many apps such as Thunderbird, FreeCommander XE, Krita, Notepad++ etc. However, when I run these apps the 32 bit version gets executed. This does not happen for other apps like Firefox, KeePass to name a few.

How do I run the 64 bit versions of the apps?

My OS is Windows 11, 22H2 version.

Boot ISO/EXE

Submitted by soevel on November 28, 2022 - 9:10am

hi, i want to have a 1 bootable USB stick to run portableapps (exe directly) but also that i can choose to work with .iso file.
Is there a way to have this?
Or if not available, is there a way to make 2 partitions on a USB stick that both are bootable? When I set Rufus on partition1 and want Ventoy on partition 2, ventoy will delete all content/MBR on the complete USB stick and not only on 1 partition. Backwards is the same issue because Rufus also deletes it all.

There is forks in the Frhed of the Hex editor. But Frhed is a fork of WinMerge. It appears to be returning to its official repository.

Currently, Portable Apps is making this version into portable. Version 1.6.0 and alpha version 1.7.1. Translation files in 3 languages are available.

So I use the portable version of Chrome because I don't like having folders being created on my AppData but is there a way to have the update folder be on the same folder as where my Chrome is so it can update automatically and also so it stops creating the update folder on my AppData, because it's always empty
