Recently on IRC some people have been asking some questions that have been mentioned in the forums (but more of in random replies than anything else). Perhaps a FAQ should be written that covers areas like upgrading, installing and advanced options. Is anyone up to the challenge, to write such a thing?

If I'm not mistaken, this post is several days old, but when I checked it via the tracker, it showed up as a new post, posted yesterday, the 28th. Looks like even our method of showing an entry in the AutoPlay window (via Action=) is going to stop working in Windows 7 RC1...

Is there actually a newsletter being published, or am I just not getting it for some reason? I've had this account with my gmail account for about a month, and I signed up for the newsletter using my ISP email at least a month before that, but I've never received a newsletter. When I click on the "newsletter" link at the top right of the screen, there is a link for previous editions, but that only shows the first one. Am I missing something? When did the last issue get published? Maybe you should automatically send the most recent edition to new subscribers. Thank you.

I am new to PortableApps and need some simple help installing other apps not listed.
I am quite positive this topic has been discussed in the forums but I have yet to find it.
I want to install a lot of my favorite apps and I have read this:

I'm a rookie with all things C++ and have almost no idea what I'm doing but I was experimenting on making RocketDock portable (a launcher) but I don't know what i'm doing wrong. The C++ online tutorials did nothing to help. What am I doing wrong?

I just went to change my user picture for the forums, but it won't let me. When I go to submit the new settings on the Edit Account page, it errors out to tell me my email address is already registered. If I completely clear the email address field and try again, it tells me I have to enter a valid email address. Bit of a catch-22 here and I don't remember having this problem before...
