Wanted to give everyone a heads up on what I believe is Xenon File Manager 1.5 corrupting my Windows XP computer.

I run THPoker, Thunderbird, Firefox on a Linux machine.
Gimp and PNotes I have no got them to rum properly.

I did a weekly scan with Trend Micro Internet Security (TMIS). On my desktop and on my two laptops. I got virus warnings two different PortableApps installers I had downloaded.

The first was for GnuCashPortable. The file "oxf201.dtd" was listed as having a virus.

The second was for AbiWordPortable. The file "AbiWord.profile" was listed as having a virus.

It was also the same virus for both according to TMIS; "TROJ_Generic.DIT"

I've been working on a portable desktop environment, based on the Sputnik theme. I'm trying to skin as many apps that can be skinned to fit in the top and side bar, as I can. This is an earlier demo of the Stickies skin I did. It has changed some since, and will probably change more. I just want to start showing some previews of the stuff I'm working on.

I often used to forget my USB drive in public computers or at least worry that I would. It was also slightly inconvenient to have to plug my USB drive in after the ring on it broke and I could thus no longer store it on my keychain. I decided that I'd just download my USB drive instead.

Hi, I had a portable app on my usb awhile ago, and now its gone. It was a program where it scans and tells me what hardware is only computer, as well as software. Now its gone from my usb and its not online anymore. Does anyone know the name of that program? Why isnt it for download anymore? Thanks

I do have a question though, in my quest for portable apps, I came across portablefreeware.com. What are the main difference betweens portablefreeware and portableapps?

I just got a SanDisk 16GB Contour. It has U3 on it, but i do not like U3 is there any way to replace U3 with Portable Apps, So that upon insertion instead of U3 popping up it is PortableApps

Other then those applications shown on this site, can i install other apps of my own choice?

For example Microsoft Office 2007, Dreamweaver or Adobe Photoshop?
