I have just come accross this resource and all the available apps for it.

could someone tell me if the apps that are availble for gnome are portable too?

Please consider adding the program version numbers to the Applications page, so that we can see what has been changed recently.

Hey guys, love the project - have been trialling a few options (such as U3) - and I'm hoping Portable Apps Menu will be the winner.!!

On a different note, I recently installed the 1.01 patch, since the icon in windows explorer was showing the version as 1.0.0.0. After applying the patch the version is still showing as 1.0.0.0. (I realise if I actually navigate toe the PortableAppsMenu folder it shows the right version, but a new non-tech user would never look that far)

Could I suggest adding the version number for the suite somewhere obvious in the gui - or at least in the options an "about" dialogue?

If I put KeePass.exe in \PortableApps\KeePass it will show up on the menu, but I would like to pass it parameters. I created a batch file for this:

START KeePass.exe .\Data\Database.kdb -keyfile:.\Data\pwsafe.key

I tried creating a shortcut KeePass.exe to the batch file, but that did not work.

Is there a way that I can start this batch file from the start menu or otherwise accomplish pass these parameters from the start menu?

Keepass is running perfectly otherwise- should be easy to turn into an official portable app

I'd like to find a portable HTML editor at least as capable as Coffee Free or 1st Page 2000. Syntax highlighting, HTML help, built-in preview plus call up preview in specified browsers, multi-file search and replace. WYSIWYG editing not required. CSS awareness required.

I don't like NVU. It makes changes in my code without telling me and doesn't seem to deal with local relative address links well.

I've seen a few apps, but didn't like them. I would like one that I can use to secure a folder of an app, but that lets me password protect the folder and any files.
I've seen some that will let you do the same, but you have to decrypt and re-encrypt them every time you want to use them, and then have them secure again. There anything like I'm looking for? Most preferably a portable app, but if there isn't, anything would work for now.

Somebody knows some portable antivirus in addition to clamwin, as they can recommend.

I'm trying to get my Portable Apps Manager (PAM) to auto run on insertion.
I've created an autorun.inf and all instructions I've inserted are working except the one for PAM. Any Ideas an what I'd doing wrong? Here's the file I've created:
