Hi,

Is there a single place/page that lists all the apps featured on PortableApps and their current version? Maybe something like an RSS feed? If not, maybe a static page or file for each app?

I'm looking to create a script that will update my key automatically, and need someplace to find the current versions available.

Is there any possibility to make a list of PortableApps (with the same folder structure John uses) people made. It would be much easyer to find them cause today you either have to know the post or to go through all the posts whitch is a lot of work and pretty annoying.
Another Idea is some community-area. I think I read a post on this but i cant find it anymore.
I think there is a projects-section on this page but I dont know to access or list it. Is there somthing like "index.html" or do I have to know the name of the project to find it?

What if there was an automated program that allowed you to make a portable app. Would you like that? This kind of program could take portable apps to the next level. if there is anyone who agrees with me, would you like to make this into a project? Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me. I've installed portable thunderbird on my usb keychain drive and can run it with no problems at home on all computers, even with limited accounts.

However once I take it to work, it spits a few errors at me, then stops reading the drive and thunderbird never starts. I've even put portable Trillian from Trilliananywhere.com on it and a couple of other portable apps from around the web and it's not just thunderbird that's failing.

I suspect it's some sort of security issue with my IT folks at work. What makes me suspect this more is that if I actually copy the folders to my local machine, they run...

With the demise of A9's bookmark manager can anyone tell me if there is a decent U3 bookmark manager that I take wherever I go?

Just to point it out, on the main FFP page, it still says 2.0 RC1 even though everywhere else it says and is RC2.

While Discovering Portable APPs {which I Love) I started with NEDWOLFS site and began reading about Portable Apps, somewherer along the line I came across 8gb. Drives from thecomputerwarehouse and I believe thats net not com. I ordered 2 Max drives USB which claims to work as any pen drive. They didn't work at all and the site wants a cod Cashiers Check. It's a one way trip, you own the bad drives 111.00 US gone so if anyone knows where that link was at Beware and better remove it. By the way I have never had a Lexar Drive to give me a drop of trouble in two years.

Hi,
Recently, I decided to try out Portable Firefox. The only portable flash drive that I have is my MP3 player which uses Microsoft's MTP standard. When I try running Firefox directly from my player, all I get is the properties window, and a notice saying "this file cannot be opened directly from this device. You must copy the file to your local hard drive". This occurs even if I have admin right on the machine. I'm using Windows XP. Any thoughts? Thanks.
