Is there portable browser for MacOS?
I understand that there was a security problem, I think it was concerning webp, Was this with 102.15.0 0r 102.15.1?
Thanks.
I cannot download and install any apps because I am behind two routers and I cannot find the way to uninstall this portableapps.com Platform. Please help me.
It's hard to explain but my problem is that some windows in front blocks the click of the rear window. I can only click with the right button to "unblock" access again.
This doesn't happen with ALL apps, but a lot of them. "Always on Top" PowerToys is disabled, FacyZones too. There's NO "Pin" software installed. It's a PITA because I can't work correctly some times.
For example, PortableApps plataform works this way, "Always on Top"... Google Chrome Portable too...
HELP!
I'm using Win11 here.... any1?
a suggestion for the main portable app loader
I recently (march 23rd) noticed a new (to me) accent on the PA logo, in the menu. I thought it might be for easter. When I went digging, it's named "logo-accent-noisemaker". Might this be for Purim (march 6/7)? Just curious. Thanks!
Good day,
Firstly, I'm wondering where can I find hash sums (MD5/SHA256) of some legacy portable apps which do not have dedicated "legacy" pages like Firefox/Chrome? I'll explain what I mean. Let's say if we visit this page:
https://portableapps.com/apps/graphics_pictures/krita-portable
We think of portable apps as self-contained, but that isn't necessarily true if they write to the registry.
So the question is, can apps from portableapps.com or the portableapps platform write to the registry?
So far, I've been checking that my apps are portable by putting them in the D: drive, and seeing if they run, and don't write to AppData. Are these all the checks I need to make, or is there some technicality that could mean the app still isn't portable?
It is brilliant that the PA PLATFORM updates-as-soon-as needed.
Recently that has been "very frequent" ( = more than once in a month).
BUT should we also, at the same time, have to update PA apps that work perfectly well already?
WHAT am I suggesting? ... That the APPS menu is like this ...
* Check for Platform Updates
* Check for App Updates
You see the point?
Very best wishes
