Problems downloading from Cuba

Submitted by alezaza07 on November 2, 2011 - 12:39am

Hi, I'm Cuban. I follow your projects portable from long ago. Long ago I can not download any http://sourceforge.net project because Cuba refuses to discharge, I have understood that leaves desicion http://sourceforge.net projects in restricted countries allow or not downloading the projects. Is there any possibility to enable the download to Cuba?

Same comfort as with installed programms

Submitted by rinolt on October 30, 2011 - 12:30pm

Hey guys,

I asked my self lately if there is the possibility to get the same comfort which I'm used from installed programms with portable apps . I mean things like catching links, mailto: , open jpeg's or other things.

I tried change the settings in the Control Panel where I can define default programs, but the apps are not listed and i can not add them. I can assign every file extension manually to my portable apps, but thats pretty dump and it's likely i miss some extension...

PocketSearch (file content indexer and search) does not index PortableApps Suite folders

Submitted by dodi on October 28, 2011 - 3:46pm

I am looking for a portable file content indexer and search tool similar to Windows desktop search. I saw older posts discussing Puggle and Wilma in this forum but it seems that there is no such tool that works properly. Index Your Files (www.indexyourfiles.com) was also mentioned, but this one seems to index file names only.

About a week ago I noticed that the login fields are a bit too long. Maybe this can be fixed?
I made sure my Firefox's zoom settings arent set so I think its not my copy of Firefox.

EDIT: I think its me after all as other browsers are fine. I updated my Linux box last week so maybe thats the cause.
