Running Firefox Portable from the SD mico card in my Windows 8 tablet, I found that all my settings had gone. No bookmarks and no plugins. So I plugging in my USB memory stick backup to make a fresh copy of the entire Firefox Portable folder (having deleted the old one) on the SD mico card. But still no bookmarks or other saved settings. Firefox Portable runs perfectly from the USB stick, and runs perfectly from every other drive and USB stick I have spent the last hour copying it to. But it will not copy or run correctly from this one SD mico card that I am using in my tablet.

When submitting or editing new content I get a double Cacha. I click on the "I am not a robot" capcha and get a green check mark. When I click save I get a "To complete this form, please complete the word verification below." I then am prompted to enter an alphanumeric capcha.I am then allowed to post. Is this by design or a bug? It does it sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. It did it for the 'internet apps" forum but not for "general discussion." I hope that this is in the right subforum. Please let me know what you think. I am using Google Chrome Version 54.0.2840.71 m (64-bit).

Is there some source code Google releases so that you can do it?

Dear All, I don't know if the log is true or false but my antivirus (NOD32) detected last utorrent update as a virus.

I think it should be checked just in case

Portable Apps is working fine from my external hard drive, but will no longer work when run from my computer's hard drive (it has hitherto worked fine for years). The apps will run if I go through the folders to find their exe's, and the user interface starts, but just does not function properly. It will not start any apps and it will not check for updates or let me get more apps (options works, though, as does refresh icons).

Can we add a setting in the launcher.ini to enable NTFS Directory Linking?

Some portable apps have massive databases and their directories cannot be moved to the data folder using our current methods. This forces them to DirectoryMove them to the proper directory on launch and move them back on exit, causing

- An exponential increase in load and exit times.
- More writing to a write limited device, such as a flash drive.

I wonder if there is a common app for these three. Or at at least, three separate ones for each purpose. Photos are solved, don't worry about that. (https://portableapps.com/node/43244). I dug up a discontinued software Metability QuickFix. I'm not sure of its capabilities for all three purposes. I don't like discontinued software.

Apache OpenOffice has now been update to version 4.1.3. When will this be available from PortableApps? Is anyone working on it?

I want intorm to a problem in LibreOffice.
When I set my language interface in LibreOffice, this option is not save.
If I close and reopen the program, Libreoffice's user interface will be again in English.
