Hi guys. I'm gonna jump straight into this those please forgive me if I seem a little rude. Ok. I have 2 portable hard drives. I plan to have one permanently plugged into my pc and one take with me on the go. I am thinking of having all my apps and data on both so that I can simply sync them when need be. That way can do stuff at work, school and friends places, save it to my portable and bring it home and sync it to my pc using Toucan. What I need help with is the quetion of is there likely to be any posible issues that arise from this that anyone can point out to me.
Ok, let's say that I am undergoing a name change and I want to leave all the old stuff behind. Is there a way to change my name?
Also, Where is that one funny dude who was messing with me about the copyright thing...Is he still alive?
Just in case anyone's interested:
I just ordered one of these and it's by far the best deal I've ever seen on a thumb drive and it says one day only:

EDIT: I now, and encourage others in the future to, post site-relevant things they find here. Anything that's interesting will do, as long as it pertains to computers, flash drives, open-source, etc.
Hi guys
A couple months back I requested feedback on PA usage which was generously given. Due to factors I wont go into Tafe didn't use PA :o(
However today I noticed on the schools homepage they have an Open Office info page which when I checked had a link to Open Office Portable
Not very note worthy but I thought it was cool they realised how helpful it would be for the students so thought I's let you guys know.
K take care

I'm not interested in this, IDK if it depends on java, admin privs. or .net or anything else. But, I have seen requests for this here in the forums and just a FYI for those interested, it is now "Open source", released under released under GNU GPL. Maybe this will help someone out.
as the topic suggests, happy birthday alpha1!
P.S: this was actually friday, but i've been busy
