Hi,
I have problem with platform in one specific situation.
When going to Apps -> Install a New App, browser window for selecting .paf.exe pops up.
If I click on anything other than that selection window or PortableApps Platform window,
focus is moved there and selection window and PortableApps Platform window becomes invisible.
There is now way to move focus back to selection window or PortableApps Platform window.
If I click on PortableApps Platform icon in tray, it appears just for a split of second and disappears again.
Whatever happened to the Komodo Edit progression?
I didn't want to put a request for it, because it was already in development to be portable. Then after searching for it here, it had stopped on version 5 Development Test 7.
As of now, Komodo Edit is on version 9.2 and completely Open-Source as well. Hopefully it gets picked up again here.
Is there a way to set programs which to be started when I start PortableApps?
I run most of my apps portable, but I don't have the Portable Apps Platform running. I find that many of the apps are slow to launch, particularly VLC, LibreOffice, OpenOffice, Skype - probably most of them. I launch them from my local hard drive. My PC does not seem to be short of resources. I'm on Windows 10 but it was the same on 7 and 8.1. Would installing the Platform speed up the launch times?
Thanks
Often when portable apps platform download update it stucks on 100%. At the moment when it downloads google chrome 44 it stops on 41 936 Kb of 41 949 Kb and then shows Reget Error, file: http://cache.pack.google.com/edgedl/chrome/win/F19450DC/8491D4A8/44.0.24...
Same with Opera, Process Explorer and uTorrent
Is there a way to update portable apps manually without loosing settings and personal information or fix this error?

Hi,
I use Google chrome portable as my default browser. Most of the time I have opened this browser with a bunch of tabs.
Nevertheless, if I do a search in windows 10 (I had similar problems in Windows 8) and pass that query to the default browser, a new browser window pops up instead of using the existing one. And that's not the only problem: The new browser window does not own all my personal extensions which means that it is a totally new environment.
Do you know how I can fix this problem?
Hi,
I noticed I have buttons along the bottom of the screen so I can pull the slider along to rewind a bit or fast forward or pause or stop for *audio* but not for *video.*
How can I apply that same slider for video?
All I can seem to do right now is right click on the screen and choose pause and stop.
I Googled this topic but could not find anything but keyboard shortcuts.
Thanks so much.
I've tried downloading Musescore 2.0.2 a few times today and I keep getting a 403 error.
