I want to put my ACT!2000 Contact Manager on my Giga Bank 4GB USB Drive. Does anyone have experience with results on this.

I can only install .paf.exe programs when I chose for "Install a New App".

I have Office 2007 (word,excel,powerpoint) in portable format, how can I add these executables so they are coming visible in the apps menu like Firefox Portable.

I also have other programs which are portable and would like to see in the list under FireFox is this possible?

On softpedia.com I downloaded foobar2000 portable, why cannot I install it like Firefox Portable.paf.exe (Options->Install a New App.)?

Hi everybody, I just created a program using borland delphi that when opened it starts both thunderbird portable and FreePOPs, if I run it with double-click it works fine but if I start it from the p.a. menu then it doesn't work, I mean it opens the program but it wont open thunderbird nor freepops. can somebody explain me why? thanks

I'm considering purchasing a new Nokia E90 but wanted to understand if the portable apps suite would be fully compatible / able to perform if used via USB and the mini_USB connector. The utility of the phone would be greatly enhanced if I could use the same suite between laptop & phone.

Does anyone have any personal experience in this area or know of any online data that may help?

Topic intensions: Discuss why any downloads from mirrors may not work and how they can be fixed.
Say a download is the wrong size, did the problem occur when the file was uploaded or downloaded, does this happen when downloading from a specific mirror, how many times did you try to download the file etc.

So here it goes: Download PortableApps_Suite_Standard_1.0.exe (89.5MB); attempts 3 with sizes 27, 42, 25MB; mirror Unknown (sorry), download manager firefox.

I’m going to try different mirrors.

When you're on the forums tracker, and you click on "new", it's supposed to send you to the FIRST new reply. Lately it's been taking me to the LAST reply. I have to scroll up to see any other "new" replies that someone has made. Is anybody else having this same issue?

hi all, i thought you might be interested to see the portable apps menue running in reactos 0.3.3 rc1,,i couldnt get any of the portable apps to run but its a start, the back up app did start and it tried to back up the drive (its fat32 in vmware),it got about half the drive backed up before it froze? ,anyways here a pic , http://img517.imageshack.us/my.php?image=portableappsmz8.png

I need a new portable program to encode VOB (DVD files) to x264 files. I used to use MediaCoder, but now it isn't portable since you need a copy of Visual C++ installed otherwise you get an error when trying to start the program. I've tried SUPER, but it never loads when I try to start the program.
