Another Portable OS comparable to portable apps?

Submitted by verbatim on July 4, 2007 - 1:54am

Around the same time I discovered portableapps.com, I also remember reading about another portable OS system that allows ANY app to be installed within this system. I remember it was created by a group of programmers from India, and the app had a slightly unusual name. Does anyone remember this software.

This app permitted the user to plug and play an entirely private environment that permitted installation of any app, such as Photoshop or whatever. And without having to adjust the bios to login into this portable, private environment.

Drupal Error Page.

Has this been discussed, as I always get confused when people are talking about all site related things like the Tracker and stuff, so I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but it's happened on three separate occasions now, when trying to come to this site I get Drupal error page. Saying;

Unable to connect to database server

And a bunch of stuff about setting up the installation of Drupal if you haven't already.

But what I was mentioning this for is it says says the site login user name, which I feel isn't good since it's one step closer to some hacker trying to get on this site.

Okay... I remember a while back you guys had a hard time with this... and just hit me today.. that my friend of mine actually helped and made the image that you need so that it works in the emulator.... I would gladly host it somewhere if anyone is still interested... and unlike the other links... mine would never go down... for any reason... why.. well.. I cannot say...

Looking for a compatible chat client

This problem has been resolved.

Okay, I tried using Trillian for my flash drive using the tutorial found at http://TrillianAnywhere.com but I had bad luck since it doesn't want to save my preferences.

I was wonder if Miranda IM or GAIM would be able to read an .XML buddy list already made from Trillian.

Thank you,
Alendar
