Can someone confirm that PeaZip 6.3.0 CAN be downloaded? I've tried several times and always get some sort of error.

BTW ... getting through that CAPTCHA is just about worse than not being able to download that app. Not good. Ridiculous.

I'd like to request for a portable Skype version 7.2.0.103. I cant seem to join chat rooms with my co-workers because they have that version and mine is the latest. Already tried asking help with IT at my office but they're not helping because they insist that i use the latest version. I can only chat directly to my office mates and I'm always left out of any updates they post on the chat rooms.

What's the difference between Telegram PortableApps version (https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/telegram-desktop-portable) and official client (https://telegram.org/dl/desktop/win_portable)?

It could be interesting change the PortableApp version to official one, which is v1.0 vs v0.10.

Default setting for log file should be changed to Data\logs or something like that. Tools->Options, then scroll down to 'Log file'.

Edit: seems like that USERPROFILE\AppData\Local\qBittorrent\logs directory will disappear when the application exits and it gets saved to the Data directory. Must be a technical reason why it can't just stay in Data to begin with (so if qBittorrent crashes, it won't leave residue on the host computer.) But I can live with that. You can delete this thread.

i know this is probably the wrong place for this,but i need some help desparatly.i have using the portable version of this app and looking at expanding the databases.however the "module" that i have been working with has disappeared,and i cant seem to get it back on the taskbar,and cant go any further(or dont want to if i cant sort this problem out) ive posted on datacrow but had no replies at also i'm kinda stuck at the moment, otherwise can anybody recommend a similar type software that can embed the images in the database without having to have a separate folder etc,cheers

I don't really get it. the point of a portable app is that it doesn't need to be installed. Yet all PA are packaged in installers. Kind of defeats the purpose?

Or is the "proper method" of acquiring and utilising a PA to install it using the PAC installer and then copy the installation folder to a flash drive? If so, why the need for the extra step?

I encounter following problem: when I use hardware encrypted stick like carbide on w10, after some time, the stick is switched off, no communication any more. Software which was loeaded before remains hnging . Then I have to start the stick again, enter the password etc.
However this seems to be not healthy for the filesystem on the stick, I am naturally getting then warnings as and need to run chkdisk on that .

From w7 I was used to keep the stick all time active when connected to computer.

i see there is a skype portable. when downloading, it starts with a 1mb-ish file. i didn't even bother when i saw that. that bit tells me, it's going to try and first use a web installer (the 1mb file) and then, maybe, get the "proper" exe. that's not really how it works for 99% of the apps here so.. yeah..

i'm already weary that there is a portable skype since i doubt microsoft wants that and is actually involved. i mean why would they? with the full windows version, they get to install drivers/hooks and whatever they want really (especially since they created the o/s).
