So I would like to know if I can move PortableApps from my computer to a USB. If so could you let me know?
About TidyTabs it says here:
So I use the portable version of Chrome because I don't like having folders being created on my AppData but is there a way to have the update folder be on the same folder as where my Chrome is so it can update automatically and also so it stops creating the update folder on my AppData, because it's always empty
After installing the portable version of Chrome browser, is it safe to uninstall or simply delete the old Chrome folder on the hard drive? What about the password file that Chrome keeps up with?
I have version 22.0.1 of the PortableApps platform.
Today the "PortableApps Updater" window is shown, but here there is no application listed, that should be updated.
Here at home I have a direct connection to the internet (no proxy).
I had have the same problem at work, but here I only have Google Chrome portable installed.
Here I can download the GoogleChrome portable package and select to add an app manually.
At work I thought this might be a proxy problem or firewall restriction, so I did not write a posting.
My understanding is that all PortableApps.com apps are scanned by VirusTotal before they are approved to be served to the PortableApps.com Platform.
Is this understanding correct?
If so, how often are they rescanned? The engines and definitions used by VirusTotal are always improving, and so rescanning is obviously important.
Of course, VirusTotal can easily miss malware, so it should only be used as a small component of any security setup.
Caesium Portable: https://portableapps.com/apps/graphics_pictures/caesium-portable

Error when trying to download Greenfish Icon Editor via the PortableApps.com Platform:

Chrome Version 106.0.5249.103
Have you heard of this before with Portable Chrome, or Chrome in general?
I cant import settings. When I try, nothing happens. Same thing happens when I try to import My Filters, but I can paste and save into My Filters.
Works fine on Firefox.
I disabled all extensions except Ublock. Disabled all experimental settings.
I just created a fresh install. Added ublock. "Restore from file" still won't import.
Is the fact that I'm trying to import the Firefox exported settings possibly the problem?
Lately it seems you are not behind the eight ball as firefox is at 105.0.3
ther updates are a bit slow implmenting the newer versions
