Well, I got the StartKey, and it really sucks

StartKey is MojoPac?
The website I downloaded it from said it was startkey, but then the installer was called 'MojoPac Installer'. I thought maybe it was like an InstallShield Wizard thing, but called MojoPac. Well, when I ran the program, it identified itself as MojoPac, not StartKey, so IDK WTF is wrong with the name.

Ok , let me say , I have a LCD TV , that has a USB and a SD reader on it , and I load up some movies that were encoded with divx and some xvid movies , some movies work and some get a "codec not supported" error.

So my question , is there a way to either install / update the codecs on the TV , or can I install a player or a codec on my flash drive that will play through the tv?

I have noticed there is an Autorun.inf file in the root directory. Does it mean the StartPortableApps.exe should start automatically when the USB stick is inserted in a Windows system? It doesn't seem to be doing it at present when I inserted in my Windows 7 system. What could be the problem?

is it possible to submit a portable app to share it on portableapps.com?

does anyone know if portable apps will run on win mobile 6.1?
have not tried yet... thought i'd ask if anyone else had first.

When one of the portable applications asks permission to upgrade itself directly from its own web site (which is not portableapps.com) what is the right way to behave?

Can the mentioned permission be given or is the newer release of the application to be waited for + downloaded from portableapps.com and "reinstalled" over the previous one as suggested on this site?

In other words:
do the two different ways of upgrading lead to the same final result or not?

I have tried various apps especially those OpenOffice ones. They were very slow to the extent they were frozen or not really usable. I tried on one laptop running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit with 4GB memory. I also tried on a desktop running Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit with 4GB memory.

Can somebody tell me what else I can do to improve the responsiveness? Does it matter if I run them on a standard user account, not an administrator account? Has it got anything to do with the size of the USB stick? Please advise!

Are there any plans to offer an automated upgrade feature for the individual apps? It is time consuming to check each individual app for updates, and an automated upgrade feature would be greatly appreciated!

I have been using Portable Start Menu 3.1 for a while. One of the features I like about it is that I can type a keyboard shortcut and it gives me a "Quick Start" option where I can begin typing the name of the app I'm looking for and run it that way instead of having to use the menu - sort of like how Windows 7 does it.

As app-namePortable.exe is supposedly only a launcher, why don't we terminate it after launching.
