From my point of view it would be great to have a portable firewall. One that can effortless be configured. For example Agnitum Outpost Firewall Free. Than you can do what you like in a secure way.
Is there any support for this???
I would love to see CCleaner (aka Crap Cleaner) made portable.
Portable REG........ It would be much better for the apps......... Is it possable?
is a portable version of nero burning already present? if not it would be cool to have one.
I'd primarily like this for the X11 server. I have to use windows boxes at school all the time, but they never have an X11 server installed, so I can't easily ssh to my home system (well, I can, but a command prompt isn't necessarily useful). (Also - a portable ssh client aside from putty would rock.)
Cygwin is an open source package available at http://www.cygwin.com
Alright, I know it's obviously not open source, but it is free...
Does anyone know the plausibility of making this portable? (Or if it's portable already). I know how M$ loves their registry, so I'm just assuming it's not totally portable.
In portable Firefox and Opera you can`t pause download and resume some other time (no matter it is saved on usb and not on hard disk). So I think that portable download manager would be great idea.
Was originally looking for a MS Visio compatible app but this is quite good. Any chance of it being portable ??
