Can you separate the Flash player from Chrome and make P-Firefox use it?

Submitted by GameMakerFan on November 14, 2013 - 11:37pm

Can you separate the Flash player from Chrome and make P-Firefox use it? I'm using P.A. on a school computer with some odd Deep Freeze app that resets the computers, except for a network drive, every reboot for ultimate virus protection, meaning that flash is always out of date, as well as everything else. Is it possible to copy the built-in flash player from Chrome and put it in a standalone thing? Or maybe set it up so Firefox can run it? I guess I could just keep using firefox but it has all my password cookies!

Android Request - Audacity is an amazing voice recorder with full Edit features

Submitted by Jim C on October 31, 2013 - 12:27pm

I have not found a better voice recorder on the market then Audacity when I was using my Palm phone (ancestor of today's smart phone). Its edit features are second to none. Unfortunately an App has not been developed for this product for Android Smart Phones (or any smart phone as far as I am aware). The apps that are available for Android lack any significant editing features whatsoever.

BurnIn Test or similar bench-marking/system-test utility

Submitted by Tolqua on October 31, 2013 - 8:46am

Burn-in Test is a great little utility and worth paying for. I tried some of the freebies, but nothing gave me the 100% CPU loading I needed to test the effect of different CPU coolers, fans, fan speeds and case mods had on system temperatures.

In fact it may be possible to run this without installing anyway - I haven't tried since I started using PrtableApps, but it would be a great addition to the list.

Hi all,

A sugestion for new app, but I don't know if it can be supported because, it is only in french. It is Captvty (http://captvty.fr/) which is an app permitting through it to access to many tv program available online.
The app is already working as a portable apps (zip or .exe), so it can maybe be easy to port it on PortableApps?
