Sigil

Submitted by Portal on January 9, 2011 - 4:53pm

Program: Sigil

License: GPLv3

Description: "Sigil is a multi-platform WYSIWYG ebook editor. It is designed to edit books in ePub format." (From website)

Website: https://code.google.com/p/sigil/

Other: Sigil is able to run from portable media but requires installation on the host machine first, then copying the folder over. Hoping for an official PortableApps.com version that is fully contained.

PChat v2 (TechPreview)

Submitted by Kane3162 on January 7, 2011 - 11:06am

I know that its still in the "Tech Preview" stage, but I was wondering since I didn't see any posts about it since it went live on the official website (http://pchat-irc.com/) if anyone had taken a look into it?

I know other apps get the "Beta/RC" treatment, so I was just wondering if anyone had taken a look into it, or plans on looking into it.

Thanks again!

Wouldn't it be great if there was a cross-platform text and pic re sizer, ala FFs no-squint?
Something to bring along for those of us eyeball challenged? a not-so-subtle dig at Chrome's defect.
so, to the coders out there, do you think there's a market for this portable app?

First post, btw
