Portable DVD Flick (DVD Authoring tool)

Submitted by rwttaber on July 14, 2009 - 7:13pm

DVD Flick aims to be a simple but at the same time powerful DVD Authoring tool. It can take a number of video files stored on your computer and turn them into a DVD that will play back on your DVD player, Media Center or Home Cinema Set. You can add additional custom audio tracks, subtitles as well as a menu for easier navigation.

Its also totally open source. (the only reliable DVD Authoring software I could find, if you know of any better open source DVD Authoring Software I am all ears.)

Launcher: a-squared Free

Submitted by malikor on July 13, 2009 - 9:12pm

I know that a-squared has a portable version available but I was wondering if someone could make a PortableApps.com Launcher for it? I want the Launcher to end the a2service.exe process upon exit of the program because I have to do it manually whenever I use the portable version they provide. Doesn't really make it portable then, does it? Most people would simply exit the program and pull the flash drive and possibly cause data loss due to that file still being used.
