I'm a Visual Basic 6 programmer. I’m developing an application that is provided to users by an USB-stick. The users only have to plug-in the stick and are able to use the application. They do not have to install anything to use our tool. The application has to work on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, …. Also when Office is not installed on the PC!

The Portable-Apps lately release a Portable Java DLL's and launcher.
Without to start a BIG debate on who is best and why it is or it is not legal.(I think that the Java license equivalent to Mono license)

Can you please do the something to run the .Net environment from a USB stick?
even if it run on less performances, I am sure that if you will start this someone will make it faster.

Hey, for some reason the open office download doesnt work for me. it just stops downloading half way and then when i run it, it says there is some error. also i tried downloading the suite and it also does the same thing where it stops half way and i cant run the program. has any body else experienced this? Thanks in advance for any help.

can someone please make a portable firefox that has the ability to run within a zip file.
i would really appreciate this.

Reason:
the reason for this is that our schools network admin has disabled all but a few executables from running and because i have encountered this problem before i know that executables can still be run from winzip or the windows compressed files utility because they show up as one of its child processes.
