Hello everybody,

i'm asking for the game LastChaos - it is a free game,
but there is not a portable edition..

is anybody able to do it portable?
i would do it myself, but i suspect my programming knowledge
is too limited..

Portable Environment

Submitted by burning_ice on December 15, 2008 - 6:52am

Is it possible to create a sub-environment, a program manager or something like U3 that will monitor non-portable programs that run on a flash drive and redirect all its registry access to an area in the drive that would act as pseudo registry? Instead of accessing the "true" registry, a false one would be introduced.

It could be used to make non-portable and closed-source programs portable.

Mowes is a portable WAMP and Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress etc system.
I have managed to get it to startup automatically from my Portable Apps USB stick, but it isnt very well integrated does not shutdown from the Eject button.

Does anyone have a setup that fully integrates Mowes or other WAMP and Joomla with PA?

NES and SNES Emulator request

Submitted by war02orc on December 11, 2008 - 4:29pm

I would like to request 2 emulators if I may that I think many people would find useful. They seem to have been mentioned in previous threads, but it doesn't appear as though anything ever came of them. I know nothing of how to make an app portable, so I can't be of much help there as far as this request goes. I'm not sure if they are "Just Works" programs, but if they are it would be nice to have them integrate into the portable apps launcher.

1) Nestopia

Description: Excellent Emulator for NES ROMS. Very stable.
