SubEdit Player

Hi,
I found this app and I think it could be useful as portable one.

english info: http://matinf.pcz.pl/~subedit/english/information.html

The main advantages (IMHO) are:
# Auto-loading of subtitles file,
# Subtitles multiple language (files compatible with mask "MovieFileName*.txt"),
# Playlist,
# Subtitles reader,

Subtitles edition tools
# Auto-correction of rapidly displayed subtitles,
# Subtitles FPS value change,
# Auto-change display time, depend on text lenght,

and more... listed on the provided site (above)

Im using Rocketdock Portable on a PC without admin rights and i was hoping to find a portable solution for Desktop Media as well. Pop in your usb and its icon appears on your desktop. When you eject the usb, it disappears.

Program:
Desktop Media (similar to Desk Drive but lighter)

License:
Freeware (Probably OpenSource even)

Description:

Request: Small app that shows when data is being written to Flash drive

Submitted by mmcdougall on August 18, 2008 - 10:52am

Once in a while when I try to run Firefox from my flash drive, it runs really slowly. Other times, it runs fine. I've started to doubt that this is always due to slow read/write tasks on the flash drive. What I would like is a small app that sits in the system tray and shows when data is being written to the flash drive, in real-time. It could be as simple as a red/green dot.

If something like this already exists, please point me in the right direction. Smile

Password Tools Bundle

This is a neat tool I found on sourceforge. It will rate your password's security, automatically generate secure passwords, and manage your passwords. The management part is not nearly as robust as KeyPass, but when it is combined with the other cool stuff it makes a handy tool to have on a thumb drive.

SVN client?

something that could do subversion, would be quite useful as a portable app. for programmers and for me because I have blender (appricot build) with the yo frankie files, and I want an easy way to access levels since the game has not been released yet
