Apps Suggestion: ImageToAVI 1.0.0.5 Full non-install

Submitted by ipide on April 16, 2007 - 7:05pm

Here is a little program I found that will convert a series of images to an AVI movie. Great for stop motion animations, time lapse videos, etc.

It even comes with a bonus word game called Wisher! (I haven't tried the game, so please don't ask me what it is like)

Submitted by jbbdude on April 15, 2007 - 2:45pm

I have been looking around for an internet dialer that I can use GreatDialUp on any PC w/ a modem and missing broadband. Want to keep the phone #, user id and password, other settings portable. I found a request for AOL at https://portableapps.com/node/4222 where someone pointed out how AOL was simply a dialer an IE skin... the dialer is EXACTLY what I'm looking for...

Raketu is a service that, among other things, allows free calls to all over the U.S. It is most likely closed source, but I am simply requesting a portable launcher, wrapper, etc (like portable skype, portable google talk, etc...) Located at http://www.raketu.com/en/index.php

Download Manager Please?

Submitted by herroen on April 14, 2007 - 11:38pm

Most of net user need download manager, like me.

It can be flashget, dap, fdm or many others?

Of course firefox has its own download manager, but it can't be dependable.

Many downloaded files stopped, and finally corrupted because of it.

So, I am hoping for a portable download manager.

The portable download manager should be integrated to firefox too.
