hi, on the move i require encyclopedias and dict's for my studies. and a compressor - like a software to compress a 500mb file into a 1mb or lessor, without loss of data on extraction. that would be great as i have tonnes of e-books, abt 20gb, so pleassssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Great app. Doesn't work "out of the box" with portableApps. This would be great if you guys could fix this so it worked. I have searched all over for a good password storage preogram and this is the best I could find!

UltraVNC

Hi everybody! Short time reader, first time poster.

Last time I was using my suite of portable apps (very nice job, all of you!), I needed a quick way to access my computer remotely.

hostname:5800 was too slow for me, but I did find that UltraVNC came with a standalone viewer:
https://downloads.sourceforge.net/ultravnc/UltraVNC-Viewer-102.zip

Single file viewer... possible inclusion in PortableApps?

Adobe InDesign

Submitted by dead necro on April 2, 2007 - 11:32pm

Was wondering if anyone has or knows it's possible to make InDesign portable. I have both Photoshop and Image Ready CS2 already installed on my iPod and as I use InDesign quite regularly I would really like to install it also however I don't know of anyone even doing this yet even after searching for I'd say at least 5 hours on various sites still haven't come up with anything. Can anyone here help me out????

NetBeans Portable w/ Java SDK

Submitted by neriksmoen on April 2, 2007 - 6:38pm

It would be nice to have some sort of NetBeans portable version. It would be nice if it could be bundled with various Java SDK versions so a Java Developer could choose whichever app to use based on their targeted Java audience...

At work with no "Admin" accessibility to install Java SDK or NetBeans, this would be a great help... if at all possible...

PDF Creator

There have been some discussion about this but not in a specific post...

Is it possible to have PDFcreator portable?

I know it creates a "fake printer" in the system, but I mean something like the printing monitor or something like that... a GUI that youc an open, choose a file and press "import/convert to pdf" and is done...

Is that possible?

Greetings.-
