I am running a dual boot netbook with xp pro and linux mint 11. I have three partitions and keep my data in one so I can reformat the others. This is where I keep my portable apps. I can't figure out how to put short cuts on my linux menu or linux taskbar. Any ideas?
Hello,
Is it possible to create a shortcut in the PortableApps.com start menu thing to a .msc file
Thanks
Jem
I think it should do like this:
Green=less than 50% full
Yellow=more than 50% full
Red=almost full
do you think it is a good idea?
I know how to add command line startup switches to PortableApps launchers.
I have added several apps within the PortableApps folder, which are already portable, so they do not have PA launchers.
These programs' icons appear in the PA menu, which is great, but I was wondering if there was any way to add startup switches to these icons, in a similar way you can with Windows shortcuts in the Start Menu.
If not, is there a workaround? Is it possible to make an ultra-simple launcher which opens the executable with command line switches and then closes?
Is it possible for 2.0 to have jump lists?
Does PortableApps work with WindowsCE?
Having finally decided to migrate from my aging U3 drive to a much faster memory stick I decided to give the PortableApps.com launcher a try. The 1.6.1 version installed with no problems and in no time I had the eighteen apps I can't live without up and running (even moving the locally stored copies all my emails from the old version of Thunderbird went without a hitch).
