Bug: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.19044.1706] 64 bit, and current version of PortableApps,
Only a minor annoyance:
System Shutdown is prevented after apps update ended, until "Finish" button is pressed
Maybe unnecessary system modal dialogue box? (please forgive me if terminology incorrect)
To reproduce:
One or more apps update is started, left running and user is doing other work in foreground.
I would like more control over categories.
I would like to easily remove, rename, and add new categories.
Moving a list of apps to a new category is cumbersome and emptying an unwanted category means moving numerous apps somewhere else.
Can this be done through the .ini file?

I'm setting up a portable development environment using PA.c, and a couple things I'm using (.NET 6 SDK and Python) have environment variables that can tell them where to put things. I'd like to have a file somewhere that lists those and is loaded by the platform upon startup. Is that currently possible?
Hello, I searched on the forum for a couple of days now and I didn't find any solution to my problem.
Is there a way to automatically launch one or several apps (Greenshot in my case) at Portableapp startup ?
Rgds
It would be nice if I could change the name, that I go by on this platform, because I don't go by: "Cat Gamer" anymore.

I receive this error every couple of days
Already installed latest version over it but nothing changed https://i.imgur.com/D1KRVBH.png
I don't know what's going on, but updates went from slow from to ludicrous slow. Win7 x64 / Linux under Wine Win7. Some odd months ago updates would take 15-18 minutes. Then that went up to 30-40 recently. Now.. now I've been running updates for about 2 hours. One will hang occasionally, so it's not entirely the apps fault, but what in the HELL is going on here??
I often have to open the menu from the system tray because it is obscured by any existing topmost window. Should the menu not open on top, as happens with system tray menus and taskbar jump lists, etc?
Hello,
I recently became a donor to PortableApps.
So I would like to obtain some support.
