PortableApps.com Platform

I have a 1 TB USB Drive which I use reasonably regularly.
My PC is a Win 10 HP computer 64 bit, a few years old.

Now when Portable Apps opens it minimises after saying "file access denied".
At the same time it does call and install updates.

Can anyone please help??

I am trying to get some help resetting the password on my account.
I've searched and can only find a link to developers_developers@portableapps.com which I have email twice now with no response.
I can't use the websites reset feature as I no longer have access to my old email account.

Hello, let's assume PortableApps platform and apps are installed to

C:\PortableApps\

but we also want to have the PortableApps launcher/menu etc be able to see/recognize other folders; to be able to have portable apps in more than 1 folder.

eg. C:\UTILS is where we would like some utilities to go.

Yes, I am aware that a PortableApp can be standalonei nstalled to C:\UTILS, and that is what we have done, and created a shortcut for.
But we also want to be able to launch a PortableApp that is in C:\UTILS from the PortableApps launcher/menu.

which means in aap portanleapps (PA) notification to install the application (paf.exe)? What a paf.exe?

Why don't I see a list of applications installed self-help without app PA in app PA?

Hi,
Due to the dependency of .NET, as of version 21, I can not start any apps on my Windows 8 system.

it seems like installer used by PortableApps Platform is different from installers used by other portable apps the platform gives options like "new install", "upgrade", "selecting cloud folders"

i am interested in the cloud folders part, how are these detected (i know they are searched in standard paths but where are these paths)

so where is the source code of this, i checked many but cant find the mention of detecting cloud folders

Can't update apps via the Platform.

Dutifully went to the downloads page, but there is no direct link for what this application is looking for.
Little help on precisely which package to download and install would be appreciated, as the application won't start otherwise.

The PortableApps.comRoot and PortableApps.comApps environment variables don't seem to have the correct values
