Proxy List?
I think it would be great to have an app that pulls new proxy server domains from various websites and email subscriptions, as opposed to using an RSS feed on a browser.

For a while a K-Meleon browser, once a quality lightweight Gecko engine based browser that existed as an alternative to FF, was not updated and thus abandoned. However recently (this year) the development seems to have sparked again and last month they released a stable version to bring back this old browser to the light again. I only found about this today and am very excited to see this happen.

Hi
I would like to release a portable package of the freeware s-soft html editor. I work with this at home and it would be useful for me at work too.
Program: S-Soft HTML Editor
Website: http://www.s-soft.hostzi.com/
License: Freeware
Description: WYSIWYG HTML editor
It can be download from the author's website o directly from Softpedia too (http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/WEB-Design/HTML-Editors/S-soft-HTM...)
Cheers
George
I think the program is portable but need some dll and ocx to work. I attach the log installation file:
I would really like to see a stable up to date release of the ownCloud Sync desktop app. Someone has made an attempt here https://portableapps.com/node/37132 but it is now quit dated and incomplete and as far as I know a lot as change upstream so a new app would need to be built.
I know it sounds geeky and nerdy but would it be possible to make this app portable?
Hi I am fairly new here so bear with me.
I love the Portable Apps solution and have been looking to get applications i use and love to work in the proper way.
The mini project i have been looking at is a mobile c++ editor and compiler.
I am learning C++ and in a windows environment it is very difficult to not use visual studio.
But i want it portable on a USB so i can play with the language without needing to install anything
Metapad is a great free text editor. The author has released the source.
The site is: http://liquidninja.com/metapad/
In order to make it portable, I think all you have to do is create metapad.ini in the install folder, and it will automatically use it instead of the registry.
This would make a great addition to PortableApps.
Currently, PortableApps offers WinMerge. Unfortunately, WinMerge has known bugs and hasn't really been updated in quite some time.
There is a popular fork of WinMerge, called WinMerge2011, that has received significant updates. It is open source, and so all updates can be viewed. I have nothing to do with the development... I'm just a user of that software.
