Adobe Digital Editions

"The eBook Blues" ...... Sad

I was wondering if this could be done. I have a ton of ebooks in Adobe's PDF format and as you would most likely have figured Adobe ebooks are encrypted so they may only be used with Adobe software (which used to be just the reader, but now Adobe forces you to use DE). It looks like Adobe DE is built with flash coding. Is it possible to make a portable version of this to put on your flash drive? It would be really nice to have an ebook reader used this way.

As you know qt4 works on windows, mac and of course linux.
this means that kdeapps can be run on all three platforms.
could qt and kdeapps be made portable?
imagine the possibilities!

TimeTracker

I thought this might be a useful program. It's a program that tracks how long the computer is in use, and from what I can tell, can also break down the total amount of time a program is used as well.

it's written in C++, and from what the website shows it doesn't leave registry entries. based on that it's sounds pretty much portable as it is, but a .paf format would be nice

FileZilla 3.0.2

Just a thought ...

I was wondering when FileZilla might be updated to the 3.0 release. There have been some very nice changes since 2.x. At any rate, it would be nice to "update" the FileZilla PE to 3.0.x.

Note: It has been a good bit since it was released, so we aren't talking a "brand new" software version. (sorry I just read the guidelines and wanted to stress I wasn't talking about a very recent software release)
