Program: Folder Size

License: Open Source

Description: Folder Size adds a new column to the Details view in Windows Explorer. The new column shows not only the size of files, but also the size of folders. It keeps track of which folders you view, and scans them in the background so you can see complete size of all files within the folder. It´s very useful for cleaning up your disk.

Okay I really don't like limewire but I love this program it's called Frostwire. It's very similar to Limewire, all the principles are the same but this is completely opensource! And it also has some cool features like being skinable. The linky is http://www.frostwire.com.

Essentially, I need a way to send data to my Ti-84+ while I'm at school, and since the standard (read: closed source) TiConnect software is not installed on any of the school computers, I would like to be able to have the open-source alternative, TiLP running from my flash drive. It is open source, under the GNU General Public License (GPL)

How about portable SUPER or MediaCoder?

Submitted by Strife89 on November 16, 2007 - 2:36pm

Yes, I've read the guidelines....

Has anyone requested portable versions of the media encoders SUPER or Media Coder?

I'm pretty sure they're freeware (not open source Sad ).

I remember extracting them with Universal Extractor and running at least one successfully. (Universal Extractor can take compressed files from installer executables and send them to a new folder, bypassing the installation.)

sandboxie portable
Sandboxie's license only allows you to register it on computers that you own. To comply with the license (which you agree to by downloading and using the portable launcher) SandboxiePortable will not extract/backup/restore any license information.

Though it was talked about, there is not yet any portable licensing available or planned. http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=2299

CURRENT VERSION: 2.2.2.3

PLEASE READ THE README.TXT FOR INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

** DO NOT USE on a system with a locally installed version of Sandboxie!!

Submitted by chrisnh on November 15, 2007 - 7:26pm

is there an app or method for associating multiple apps at once? almost all of my apps are some form of portable so when i reinstall windows or return to a previous image of it, i have to re associate alot of things and can't seem to find a way to do this easily. hopefully someone knows a way other than exporting a reg file from hkey-classes-root for each app. thanks Smile
