Got a suggestion for an app that should be portable? Post it here.

Is there a decent OS personal accounting app that could be made portable? Something like MSMoney, and it could even be simpler than that. I'm just looking for something that I can take with me to record debit card transactions, checks, deposits, etc..., and keep a running balance. Account categories would also be a nice feature. It would be great to have something like that as a portable app.
I know there are topics about it , but they are never really awnsered. so , why don't create a portable version of daemon tools ? So we can play our games directly on the guest pc instead of waiting hours until the game is installed ? It must be possible to create something like that ? It musn't be the same of daemon tools of course , just a portable app where you can start iso-images from.
Hi,
i use portableapps a quite short time, but im really exalted. Now im thinking about this freeware file browser. Its a Kind of Norton Commander. I think many people want to use it in Office, but you know how challanging it can be to get these apps installed....

Hiho!
I like programming with Zend Studio. The FTP support as is in Zend Studio is what I really like. Is there another PHP/HTML/CSS Editing software for portable use with this feature? I could use Notepad and a FTP App (like FileZilla) - download, open, edit, upload. Thats not what I want. DoubleClick on File on ftp, edit it, press save and it is uploaded.
Something like this for portable use available?

hi..
i would like to suggest a new portable app that i was looking for since months.
it is like a PDF writer and reader, portably designed, i think it may help people to open PDF files without worrying to wait so long to install Adobe reader into their pc.
hope to get feedbacks !!

lcc-win32 is a compiler system for windows, however it reads lib and inc path from registry. so a portable verison, possible?
and there is another one, http://www.smorgasbordet.com/pellesc/, which is based on lcc-win32,but it is not portable too
You should develop a portable version of the open-source cross platform program LimeWire. They're offering $100 in money to anyone who completes this task.
I don't find such an thread here... so i would say paint.net as an alternative to gimp...

I searched the forum to find out if foxit PDF reader is portable or not and some threads say yes and others say no. My understanding is that it leaves an entry in the registry but will run from a usb drive. Is this correct?
