Ente Auth (synchronizing OTP app, free, OSS)

Submitted by a.borque on December 13, 2024 - 5:06pm

Ente Auth is a free open source program for storing 2FA-OTP-tokens E2EE in a cloud and synchronizing them between various devices to generate codes there. Windows, MacOS, Linux, Android and iOS are supported. [1]

There is a ZIP version that requires no installation, but unfortunately it stores its data in the users home directory instead of the program directory, so it is not really portable. [2]

Ultramon

Hi,
I have been an avid user of the app Ultramon https://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/ for many years, but since I am moving to only have portable apps, I would really love to get a portable version of this.
It is low maintenance as the app does not get updated anymore, but still works great on Windows 10 and 11.

Hope that someone can help get this app made portable, It mostly relies on registry setting as far as I can tell

Topogun 3

Name of the program: Topogun 3
Website for the program: https://www.topogun.com/
Description: Software for retopology process of 3D models
License (GPL, etc)

I have already tried to create a portable distribution for the Topogun 3 program. It ran at home. But unfortunately it did not run at work.
But at the same time the portable program Substance Painter runs at work without any problems.
Here are the ini files from Launcher directory of these two applications for comparison.

1. Description

OutWiker is designed to store notes in a tree. Such programs are called "outliner", personal wiki, or tree-like editors. OutWiker's main difference from the other similar programs is keeping the tree of notes in the form of directories on disk, and encouraging changing the base by external sources and programs.

Also any number of files can be attached to the page. OutWiker can contain pages of different types, currently supports three types of pages: plain text, HTML pages and wiki pages. You can add Markdown page support with Markdown plug-in.
