Instant Accessibility settings for Disabled

Submitted by K-dex on September 9, 2015 - 11:28am

I have an idea for software.
The software when inserted into a computer, instantly changes the accessibility settings on the computer to preset ones in the program.
Making it easier for the disabled to use computers. Rather than search through settings over and over again. Then these can be used on almost every computer.

Thank you for considering.

TeXmacs - free wysiwyw editor for mathematics

Submitted by rbon on August 31, 2015 - 1:29pm

GNU TeXmacs from Wikipedia:
"GNU TeXmacs is a free scientific word processor and typesetting component of the GNU Project. It was inspired by TeX and GNU Emacs, though it shares no code with those programs. TeXmacs does use TeX fonts.[3] It is written and maintained by Joris van der Hoeven. The program produces structured documents with a WYSIWYW (what you see is what you want) user interface. New document styles can be created by the user. The editor provides high-quality typesetting algorithms and TeX fonts for publishing professional looking documents."

LightTable Code Editor

Submitted by Wickster on August 28, 2015 - 4:40pm

The app is fairly new but it is open-source. It's a lot like Brackets and Atom.io than it is to Notepad++ though. I've requested Atom Editor before, but I'm now starting to realize that Atom might be a lot harder to make portable as in their forum, they're having a tough time as well.

I hope LightTable could be more easier to make portable...I hope. It is a very nice looking editor with a very nice set of customization to it.

Netgate Amiti Open Source AntiVirus (Based From Clamav)

Submitted by XENONINJA on August 26, 2015 - 10:13pm

Amiti Antivirus is a reliable and user-friendly software utility designed to provide you with the proper means to protect the security of your computer and that of the personal information you might be storing on it.

Following a rather lengthy installation period, the program launches automatically in the system tray, allowing you to access it whenever you need. Optionally, it can also integrate into your Windows context menu, letting you perform scans on specific items from your PC.

Light Browser (Super Lightweight Internet Browser Based From Firefox)

A light Firefox edition. Many components are slimmed down. So it can start faster and use less memory. By default, Light can run along with official firefox. Both x86 and x64 builds are available.

Light is firefox slim & lite edition..........firefox is bad but Light is good

please make the portable version official , of course this is open source

More apps for tech support.

Submitted by Ropeplay on August 24, 2015 - 10:25pm

You already have a lot of useful apps for computer techs such as myself such as treesize, Revo, CPU-Z, GPU-Z, spybot, TDSSkiller, etc.
But I would love to see more apps such as Superantispyware, Malwarebytes, and more apps that are commonly used to clean and repair computers. I'm sure the comments section of this thread will be full of tons of helpful repair programs too because it's amazingly handy to be able to launch these apps from a flash drive instead of having to install them or boot into an alternate OS you keep with you.
