[Self-Promotional] Alarm Clock

Submitted by Tarry91 on January 13, 2009 - 4:22pm

Hello,
I discovered this service yesterday and I am very pleased. Great Job !
I am working since a few months on an Alarm Clock, witch is completely portable.
It saves (by default) all settings in program folder, where the *.exe is.
To change the path, where to store the files and to run it with windows, is the registry needed, but I can easily disable these features and it is 100% portable.

It is not released as Open Source (yet). If you need to have the code I am happy to send it to you personal or release it in Mai as Open Source.

Freebyte Task Scheduler is a free and portable task-scheduling application.

Freebyte Task Scheduler is a small and zero-install program which enables you to start other programs automatically, periodically and at pre-defined times. This program functions very well in combination with backup software like Freebyte Backup, disk fragmenters, virus scanners and other regularly scheduled system maintanance utilities.
Freebyte Task Scheduler is freeware for commercial and non-commercial use and runs on Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP.

And I think it's a good addition for those extra Apps for the suite...

It is PDFedit, and it is open source... http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfedit/

From sourceforge: "Free editor for PDF documents. Complete editing of PDF documents is possible with PDFedit. You can change raw pdf objects (for advanced users) or use many gui functions. Functionality can be easily extended using a scripting language (ECMAScript)".

What do you think?

Daemon Tools Again

Submitted by ChildOf7Sins on January 9, 2009 - 12:26pm

Well we have discussed creating a disk image mounter. That can be placed on a external drive. We have also found the problem being Daemon Tools (and other programs) need to create registry file or something similar. I have two proposals.
Proposal 1: Simple might not work though
