Portable App Development

The following post contains feedback, suggestion(s), and/or a feature request for the PortableApps Platform on Windows:

Please add a feature to the PortableApps Launcher that checks my installed app's for errors using MD5 or SHA256 and reinstalls if necessary. This could be an option in the right-click menu for individual apps, or in the right-click menu to "Apps."

I require apps to be played on my android tv. Is this possible?

How do you create the exe file in the portableapp main directory? Do you simply copy the executable of the app or do you convert a batch file that launches the executable of the app, or neither of these?
I'm new to portableapps and I can't find a comprehensive guide explaining how to make an app portable from beginning to end.

I read in the development documentation appicon.ico should contain the following 16px (8-bit), 32px (8-bit), 48px (8-bit), 16px (32-bit), 32px (32-bit), 48px (32-bit) and, optionally, 256px (32-bit). What about 20px and 24px icons? Can we include that formats too or we can't?

i see the team keep update firefox and chrome
but thunderbird is stuck at version Version 60.9.1 while the last version is 68.7
may i know why? Is it harder to update ? I mean is harder to make portable the last version?

Je voudrai savoir comment et à qui il faudrait s'adresser pour ajouter des applications portable au catalogue.
je pensais à une application que j'utilise régulièrement comme "recall" qui permet d'extraire tout les numéros de licence des différents programmes pour pouvoir les réinstaller par la suite ( après formatage par exemples ).

I'd like to understand how a PortableApp is maintained in it's GitHub repository.

For example, the LibreCAD PortableApp full application repository is https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD. It has scripts for release builds that include an NSIS installer. What would be required to generate a release PortableApp?

Hi, quick question.

What do i have to do to include a .nsh file, like FileFunc.nsh that is not already included with PA when compiling a launcher?
I know the Custom.nsh file is supposed to go into the Launcher folder next to the ini but where do the include files go?

Would it be possible to add the ability to modify the shortcuts of the following icons on the main menu

Documents
Music
Pictures
Videos
Backup

I run into issues with long paths as I nest a number of folders.
In order to overcome issues, I try to keep folder names short as possible and in the root folder
