Portable App Development

Some time ago i have found (but i don't remember how i have found) this setup package:
JDownloaderPortable64_Build_35650_ffmpeg_64bit_Multilingual.paf.exe

It's working good also at today....... i can check the Upgrade of Jdownload from app directly and i have correctly update my app to latest but i have see there's a little trouble.

When i exit from JD on Task Manager i see one process remain in execution.... JdownloadPortable.exe. I can Exit from JD correctly but if i want to relaunch the app i obtain an errors says another instance it's already in execution.

Just created paf package for latest update of Rambox 0.7.1.

• Fast startup: it doesn't move data directory to %APPDATA% folder, instead, run from data folder directly.
• Cache cleanup on exit
• Disable auto-run on system boot
• No splash screen

I have Portable apps Platform and Chrome (latest stable) installed on a virtual hd. Chrome is much slower than a few releases ago. It is slow starting up (loading files from the virtual hd) and retrieving web pages (poss. problem with cache, located on virtual hd.

I had normal Chrome also installed on my normal hd, and there's a Chrome folder under AppData which I suspect is still being used, but my the profile being used is on the virtual hd and the Chrome on the regular hd has been uninstalled , possibly before I noticed the slowdown.

If someone want to make an app PA.c Fomat officially, he can't have access to this file to finish his build

I am varad from India & this is my first post.
I am trying to create portable applications of some common utilities and softwares which will save installation / activation time.
I tried vmware Thinapp and cameyo , both are creating apps but Thinapp creates very large sized app. Typically a 50MB sized installation when converted to portable gets expaned to 600Mb in size. So its of no use as it lacks portability. I think I am not making right selection of options.

It looks like there's a licensed version of Delphi that can be used by the community to help build the platform again. Delphi Community Edition 10.3 should let developers build the current platform from source. The current platform is built with Delphi Professional 10.2.

Any idea how I disable the Thunderbird splash screen? I have these ini files:

ThunderbirdPortable\Other\Source\ThunderbirdPortable.ini
ThunderbirdPortable\ThunderbirdPortable.ini

Both have 'DisableSplashScreen' set to true, but it doesn`t work, the splash screen still appears.

The ini file seems to work for all other apps, just not TB.

Currently in PortableApps Version 3.6 of Gnucash is existing.

But there is already a Version 3.7 available on source of the program.

Can someone take care about including it in portable.apps ?

... there is a new fix for european banking since 09.09.2019 and the aqbanking component is required that it can be used with the new banking interfaces and strong 2 factor authentication.

It would really help much if someone can care about an update
