Addons for Convey Portable

As the Convey Portable app is being developed, and an addon section is soon to come, I started thinking of some useful addons. One would be an autohotkey script to simulate the shell integration features in an installed version of 7-zip. This would be under SendTo and not actual shell integration. I can get it to work by opening the file manager, then selecting the proper task, but i'm wondering if there is a way to make it directly open the proper window, just like shell integration for the installed version would.

just curious...

i keep looking for menu updates, patiently, but i'm not seeing them anywhere really. is there somewhere else i should be looking?

the reason i am asking is that in the "PortableApps Menu 1.0.2 Beta 3 (Pre-Release 2)" (https://portableapps.com/node/4571) post (around the area of the source code) is this comment:

"...This should get us back on track to releasing menu updates monthly (at a minimum)..."

anyway, just trying to locate updates.

Newbie Question

Submitted by dvldog on April 20, 2007 - 4:54pm

I can only notice that freeware is the mainstay of portable apps scene. I have tried to make a couple apps with my personally owned software using my keys, but they never turn out well when I try to use them on my work PC.

Is this a valid issue to bring up or is the developement of non freeware a taboo issue? Thanks for any info.

Portable Lotus Notes R7.0.2

Submitted by Scaryant on April 20, 2007 - 11:21am

Hi,

I'd love to know how to implement Lotus Notes under PortableApps. There is a thread which mentions a solution on this forum however it's locked and there is no actual details of the solution listed.

Does anyone know how it is possible to do this using Lotus Notes R7.0.2? I thought I'd try this before going down the much harder path of learning and writing my own script!

Many Thanks,

Andrew

I found the Toucan thing, and it looks really good. I was wondering when it is coming out or planned for release.

[I am not going to give anyone the link 'cause it's meant to be secret apparently..]
