Got a window filled with black when attempting to start freeCAD's portable app (v. 0.21.1).

Symptoms are described here:

As discussed in the FreeCAD forum, renaming FreeCAD's bin/opengl32sw.dll to opengl32.dll fixed the issue. The Path to the file is something like ...\PortableApps\FreeCADPortable\App\FreeCAD\bin

I wanted to install PaintDotNetPortable_5.0.9.paf but have problem because microsoft defender is constantly blocking this exe.
I belive that it's because missing digital signature.

Can you please add a digital siganture to this exe?

(other .paf.exe works like a charm: e.g. Thunderbird, NotePadPlus - all have digital sigantures)

Hello, I am wondering if Canva can be made portable.
They do offer a Canva Free and a Canva Pro for 119.99
If possible, portable app can me made with the same features as Canva Free.

I gave ShareX a try via the PAP on a Win7 box, and it didn't work. Nothing happened upon launching the app.

I'm not sure if it's because the app isn't compatible with Win7 or there is an issue. If it's the former, probably a good idea to improve the UX; if it's the latter, well, then this is a bug report.

Possible for https://github.com/Diolinux/PhotoGIMP Photogim to be added to the gimp layout, it seems the directroy has changed locations and no longer is simply copy paste to install?

Is an installer available or is there a list of which folders go where?

I'm using this version (copied from the 'about'-screen:

XnView MP Windows
Version 1.4.3 64bits (Feb 25 2023)

Libformat version 7.138

I installed XnViewMP64 Portable using the PortableApps-UI. The installation was easy, no errors, no problems. The application was installed with a German user-interface and runs smoothly.

I launched Tools->Options.
I set the language to 'English'.
I restarted XnVMP64.
The language was still set to 'German'.

I'm having am issue where inkscape will not import .png or .svg files.
where it produces a white and red "x" icon on screen or states it has failed to open the requested file.
display mode is normal
This seems to have started recently as these are png's and svg's that i created with inkscape.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Tested in multiple drives and folders. If the folder has a long name with spaces, the program will launch and close immediately. This behavior does not happen with any other program from PortableApps.com, that I use (and I use a lot of them).

I think it's the same bug this guy was experiencing!

EDIT.: I did the following tests:

First off, discoverning portableapps has been fantastic! Thanks to all who make this possible!

I have been placing my custom python plugins into KritaPortable\App\Krita64\share\krita\pykrita. This has worked well until I recently ran a newer portableapps installer to upgrade Krita, and this removed my plugins.

I then tried to place them in KritaPortable\Data\krita\pykrita, but my plugins have disappeared from there as well. It seems that this folder gets emptied automatically or something?
