Hallo,

would be nice to install the gimp help manual into or in addition to GimpPortable app 2.10.30, but the install program gimp-help-2.10.0-de-setup.exe from gimp.org refuses to install the help manual (even generally anywhere) since it pretends that Gimp 2.10 is not installed at the PC system.
Please, could you either turn the gimp manual into a portable app or give me a hint how I could manually supplement GimpPortable by the gimp manual?

I've been running PortableApps for years, and Blender on it as well with no problems.

Then PortableApps updated, including Blender, and on the first run I got a message about being onWindows 7 (which I am not and that there was a legacy app available for Windows 7.

Mousing over the Blender item in the PortableApps menu, it showed as 2.93.2 as expected, but when Blender started it was 2.80!

Hello everyone.
After configuring Blender on my PC, I went to another one, and I discovered all my settings weren't there!
Blender Portable still stores data locally, while it should use its own folder. I also tried VLC, SeaMonkey and LibreOffice, no problems with any of them.

With the latest version of 2.93 of Blender, it doesn't work on Windows 7. The reason behind it is that Python 3.9 dropped support for Windows 7.
I have already installed the portable version 2.92 which works for me. How can I stop the PortableApps program from suggesting me updating Blender to 2.93 on each run?

I keep getting this error when trying to install on an external hard drive. I had this same version installed but it kept freezing on me so I deleted the app and tried to re install it but now it wont even get halfway before throwing this error. Any ideas of what to do? I have screenshots but it seems that this site doesn't allow screenshots to be posted.

Doesn't work. I have Win 7 service pack 1. It wont open the app up at all. Before this, I had tried their regular install a couple of weeks ago and when I tried to open it up it threw the message "This program cant start because, api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem".

I am new to portable apps and was happy to see my favorite program GIMP on your list. When I used the regular uploader it was an old and unusable version so I'm trying to install the 2.10.24 portable version.

I downloaded the .paf from the website. Each time I try to install it I get a different error message and the installation stops midway.

Any trick to getting this to install?
