Hi,
I just updated PortableApps platform and afterwards the apps which needed be updated and I receive an error message from Iobit Malware Fighter to the effect that inkscape.exe contains a Trojan.
Did someone have the same problem? What to do?

Maybe we can have GIMP version "2.10.20" ???

That would be really nice, because there have been a lot
of bugfixes and also new features. Just a suggestion ...

Krita is NOT completely portable and needs to be fixed within the next update. I could fix this myself but there's no point if the next update overrides it without knowing, thus the report here.

The following folder and files are left within %LOCALAPPDATA%:

Folder 1: "krita"
-> Consists of caches that are not cleaned after exiting the application.

File 1: "kritadisplayrc"
-> Some kind of display settings that are saved after changing the display settings of krita.

Hi . I am new here and feeling very naive and stupid. But, I am also 73 years old, so please be compassionate. I "inherited" a computer from my son and it came pre-installed with AI portable. (I did not ask for this, he just did it.) I now have a new computer, and I transferred all the stuff from that PC to my new one, but AI will not open. My son died and I have no one to ask. Might some kind soul be willing to help me out please--I have no clue what I am doing...

System: Win 10 Pro, 64. Portable Apps installed on a hard disk, not the system disk.
I have been having this problem for a while, but am not sure when it started. Any function, like File>Open, File>New, File>Save or Save As, etc. that calls for disk access takes a very long time to open the dialog box. I've timed it twice and it's about 2.5 minutes.
I also reinstalled 2.10 Portable. It did not change.

Using the latest version of GIMP Portable, installed to the Desktop, I have tried to install the newer (I think) GIMP Resynthesizer plugin referenced in the Resynthesizer YouTube tutorial at:

I think this plug-in is newer than Resynthesize 0.13b, which I have used in the past. This newer version has additional options and features that (to me) seem to be a great improvement.

I downloaded Gimp 2.10.18-2. When I install and run it, no Python scripts get loaded at startup. Get the following error messages when I try to run the Python console from the Filters menu:

GIMP Message
Execution error for 'Console':
Failed to run plug-in "python-console.py"

GIMP Message
Unable to run plug-in "python-consloe.py"
(E:\GIMPPortable\App\gimp\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins\python-console\python-console.py)

Failed to execute child process (No such file or directory)

However, the file does exist in the correct directory.

I downloaded Gimp 2.10.14 rev2 and installed it my D: drive. I also have python scripts to call programs like Nik, Lightzone, ON1 Effects etc. Whenever I call one of these programs I get an error message as shown below:

i downloaded the latest version from https://portableapps.com/apps/graphics_pictures/gimp_portable, installed it and saw that Gimp creates a folder outside of it's install folder after launch.

Install folder: D:\Downloads\GIMPPortable

After launch, it'll create: D:\Downloads\PortableApps.com\Data\Fonts

Is there a file i can edit to fix that error?
