Portable App Development

I want to be able to have a number in front of some programs on the program meny. For example 1 audacity, 2 Photofiltre etc. so the programs willl appear on the top of the meny. I'm in project that will teach swedish teacher students how to use ICT in the classroom. To gratuate in this project they will use different programs in different levels (five levels).
Is it easy to edit in some files to get the numbers first before the program name?

Hi! I am interested in making my copy of Frontpage 2003 portable for personal use. So far, I am willing and able to carry out these options...

1. Use Portable Apps Creator (PAC): Will there be any trouble considering that I have lost my Frontpage 2003 CD?

2. Use a launcher made by others like in this thread.

some people say that the pre-versions of the OpenOffice 3.0 portable are the final versions. Is that right? Are we expecting to release OpenOffice 3.0 portable final this year? I am waiting for it since months and don't understand why it isn't ready jet. I read a couple of weeks ago it is as good as ready. Thank you in advande.

i'm new to nsis, only doing it for 3 days, and for starters i converted my Photoshop CS4, just for educational porposes, and b/c i don't want to reinstall it every time i reinstall windows. i have deepfreeze too, so all my apps are portabilised, and on drive D:\, but for now only with thinapp.
so, the problem is:
a have used the template provided here in the forums, and i have introduced 2 lines of code, here:

Well my friends. I am just a young people(just 19 years old) who whats to make my owns creation, so, with the GIMP Portable app (Special thanks to PortableApps.com) I do a new face to the menu, the PA.com menu. Now I am using my new background for my menu. But I what to share my happiness with all of my PortableApps fans.
