1. This installer behave different from the other installler of PorableApp. Other installers I can put them on desktop and run them, and the default location of the extraction will be in one new folder.
This installer doesn't extract the content to a new folder by defualt. (Readme file can solve things here).

I tested RenamerPortable. Now I have:
\Data\Presets
\Data\settings
\Data\Presets\ExamplePreset.rnp
\Data\settings\ReNamerPortableSettings.ini
\Data\Settings.ini
By comparing this structure to the developer original program structure, I can understand that
\Data\settings
\Data\settings\ReNamerPortableSettings.ini
Its help.html file's section

- https://portableapps.com/apps/development/portableapps.com_launcher states:
For creating portable apps, we recommend that you use the PortableApps.com Development Toolkit which is in development, or the PortableApps.com Application Template 2.4 which is also available.
However, both options are limited:
I've read a post at nsis forum http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?p=3154300#post3154300 and tried what was written.
That's true.
I don't understand why, if nsis doesn't support simultaneous drag'ndrop and writing registry, PortableApps which is based on the same code, can do it.
Could you explain me?
Hi all,
I'm want to automate creating a Portable App as part of my app's build process but all the instructions I've found (including the ones included with the Template App) eventually use the Launcher GUI to generate the launcher executable.
Can anyone offer suggestions?
Thanks!

As reported here, Sumatra PDF Portable can have support for Postscript files if Ghostscript is found.
I've added the capability to do this to the AppConfigs repository, but will leave this bug open for tracking.
Hi,
I have a question about addressing C:\Users\Public\Documents with Portable Apps Launcher. I searched the PAL documentation and this forum as well as Google but did not find any solution.
I want to move a folder in C:\Users\Public\Documents but what is the right syntax in then launcher.ini? I know how to do it generally but this is the first time I need to move to C:\Users\Public\Documents.
Thanks and cheers

Is possible resume this project?
It works only on 32 bit systems, and now Windows is 64 bit...
It's very easy install a program and have a program that portabilize it for you!
Why is it abandoned?
